Sandblasting zirconia ceramic beads

Ceramic blasting beads is of proper density and good hardness blasting media, Vickers hardness 700HV and HRC 600.

It can be recycled in the sandblasting process and with long service life, about 30 times that of glass beads.

4 . How to judge the quality of ceramic bead ?  

1.Color

Natural white quality is the best. The color is too white, and the Al2O3 is higher, so the content of ZrO2 and SiO2 is correspondingly reduced, which affects the color, smoothness and wear resistance of the product. The color is yellow and the Al2O3 is low, which affects the hardness.

2. Surface smoothness and color

Smooth, good color ceramic bead is the best quality

3. Roundness and sphericity

The higher the roundness and sphericity of the particles, the better, and the fewer satellite beads and strip beads, the better.

4. Particle distribution uniformity

The best quality ceramic bead with a narrow particle size range and uniform particle size

5. Loss on ignition and dryness

The particle has low loss on ignition, good dryness and good quality for long-term storage without adhesion.

6 . Sandblasting purpose
1.
