Ceramic beads are spherical media with high mechanical strength and wear rate, as well as good circular consistency and chemical stability.
Ceramic bead density can generate higher impact velocity, making it a good choice for deburring and shot peening.
Its excellent impact resistance results in minimal dust generation.

The ceramic sandblasting process can produce a smooth and bright satin effect.
Mainly used for sandblasting machines, including manual and automatic sandblasting machines, open sandblasting machines and sandblasting rooms, as well as shot blasting equipment.


Ceramic sandblasting media have a wide range of applications and can be used for sandblasting with all conveying systems (air, wheels, and water). Ceramic beads are the standard shot peening material for titanium parts. Ceramic sand particles are angular in shape and are very suitable for etching parts with extended dielectric life.

 

Ceramic sandblasting media are highly suitable for stainless steel products that require high aesthetic value, such as stainless steel surface treatment in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Compared to glass bead sandblasting, ceramic beads are better and easier to clean.
By subsequent ceramic bead sandblasting, a uniform satin gloss can be obtained on the surface.

Completely free of iron, therefore there is no risk of pollution.
Beautiful and uniform surface (satin luster).
Based on the initial state of the material, a roughness of Ra<1.0 μ m can be achieved.
Suitable for processing stainless steel products in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Starting from the pre machined surface or cold-rolled 2B, according to the surface treatment, the following roughness (Ra) can be roughly achieved:
Ceramic bead sandblasting: 2.0-0.8 μ m
Glass bead sandblasting: 3.0-1.5 μ m
Acid washing:~0.5 μ m
Mechanical polishing: 5.0-0.05 μ m
