3 . Characteristics of 95 zirconia beads
•95 zirconia beads have good roundness, smooth surface, high density, and good hardness, making them a perfect and fine spherical grinding medium;
•Good stability, resistant to strong acids and alkalis;
•Has excellent toughness, compressive strength, impact resistance, and does not break;
•Low wear (ppm level), minimal wear on equipment, making it the best grinding medium..
4 . The breakthrough in the research and development of zirconia sandblasting beads (30-90 microns) marks the upgrade of precision sandblasting technology from "extensive" to "precise", and its technological innovation is reflected in three major dimensions:
1. Nanoscale preparation process: Using 50nm zirconia powder and isostatic pressing technology, the internal grain size of the beads is ≤ 0.3 μ m, and the compressive strength is ≥ 1200N (single bead), which is 30% higher than traditional processes. By precisely controlling the heating curve through a vacuum sintering furnace (gradient heating from 5 ℃/min to 1550 ℃), the density of the beads is ensured to be ≥ 99.5%, avoiding fragmentation during sandblasting caused by internal pores.
2. Intelligent grading and screening system: Introducing a laser particle size analyzer and a vibration screening integrated machine, the beads are graded in six stages (30-40 μ m, 40-50 μ m, 50-60 μ m, 60-70 μ m, 70-80 μ m, 80-90 μ m), with a particle size tolerance controlled within ± 2 μ m, meeting the demanding requirements of high-end customers for particle size distribution (deviation rate ≤ 5%). When a precision instrument manufacturer customized 80-90 micron beads, the measured particle size concentration reached 98.7%, significantly improving sandblasting consistency.
3. Breakthrough in recycling technology: Developing a chemical cleaning and regeneration process to remove surface pollutants from beads through strong acid etching (non hydrofluoric acid system), combined with high-temperature annealing (1100 ℃ insulation for 2 hours) to restore surface hardness, with a performance retention rate of ≥ 95% after a single regeneration. According to calculations, each ton of beads can be recycled 5-8 times, which reduces the overall cost by 60% compared to the traditional one-time use mode of brown corundum sand, and helps enterprises build a green manufacturing system.
