Application
When ceramic sandblasting media are used for sandblasting pretreatment, wet sand blasting is a better choice because it is safer, more environmentally friendly and more convenient.
Wet sand blasting, also called steam sand blasting, is a sandblasting process that removes old coatings, paints and other impurities from the surface. Wet sandblasting mixes water with ceramic sandblasting media.
Ceramic sandblasting media have a uniform texture, and water also increases the weight of ceramic sandblasting media particles, effectively removes contaminants and coatings, leaving a more uniform and softer surface without damaging the underlying material.
